Surabaya (beritajatim.com) – The presence of Josep Gambau as the new coach of Persebaya Surabaya was warmly welcomed by the players, especially the foreign players of the Bajol Ijo team.

One of them is Song Ui-Yong, a player from Singapore who feels happy to be under the control of the Spanish coach. In fact, Song had a brief discussion with Josep.

“Definitely happy to meet coach Josep. “We just met, but we already had a little chat,” Song said.

Song also realizes that Persebaya’s management has big goals and with the arrival of a new coach, they hope to work together in the first round of the competition to achieve these goals.

“I hope he can work with us to face this competition and achieve the goals set by management,” he added.

A similar opinion was also expressed by Bruno Moreira, a Brazilian player who admitted that he did not know Josep before. The presence of this new coach made him happy and he felt that he had to continue the positive trend of the team, given that Persebaya had achieved good results in the last five matches, which led to the revival of the team .

“To be honest, I didn’t know much about the new coach beforehand, no one told us. “But for now, I am happy with his arrival and we believe in the performance of this new coach in the future,” he concluded.
