MotoGP News: KTM test rider Dani Pedrosa has praised Marc Marquez who performed well at the Indian MotoGP event yesterday. Even though he fell, Marquez never gave up until he finally finished ninth overall.
During the race at the Buddh circuit, Marc Marquez experienced bad luck at the start of the race. He miscalculated in the turns and therefore slipped. Fortunately, Marquez’s bike can still be driven. Through hard work and an unyielding spirit, Marquez caught up and finished ninth. Márquez’s heroic efforts later received high praise from Dani Pedrosa. Although finishing ninth may not be considered a good thing, given what Baby Alien has been through, all of his efforts deserve to be commended.
“His ability to maintain his bike when he crashed was key to his success in coming back and finishing in ninth position. He only fell for a moment, but was then able to get back up and press the accelerator until the end. In my opinion, he had a good race and again showed his winning mentality,” Pedrosa said when interviewed by local media.
Marquez’s performance in the second half of the season has indeed improved. After falling several times during the first half of the season, Márquez began to collect points diligently, although he was still not completely consistent. This is seen as a good thing as Márquez avoided a serious accident that kept him sidelined for a long time. At least he can score points and liven up the mid-table competition.
