The player born on July 5, 1995 is the first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal. She is one of only two female badminton players from India to have won an Olympic medal, the other being Saina Nehwal.

The real name of the owner, Pusarla Venkata Sindhu, started his career as a professional badminton athlete in 2009.

Sindhu came to international attention when she reached the top 20 of the BWF World Rankings in September 2012 at the age of 17. In 2013, she became the first Indian singles player to win a medal at the Badminton World Championships. In March 2015, he became the youngest recipient of India’s fourth highest civilian honour, the Padma Shri.

Sindhu won her first super series title at the 2016 China Open and followed it up with four more finals in 2017, winning titles in South Korea and India. Additionally, he won a silver medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2018 Asian Games, respectively, as well as two bronze medals at the Uber Cup.

The silver medal won in women’s singles at the 2016 Summer Olympics made her the first Indian to reach the final of an Olympic badminton event and an Indian to enter the final phase of an event in singles at the Olympics.

Then, at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Sindhu also managed to get a bronze medal for the women’s singles sector.

Currently, Sindhu has won the gold medal of the Swiss Open 2022 tournament in women’s singles. India’s women’s singles Pusarla V Sindhu won after beating Thailand’s representative Busanan Ongbamrungphan in the final with a score of 21-16 and 21-8.

The 26-year-old quickly corrected the mistakes he made before. As a result, he managed to turn things around at 11-10 in the first gane interval.
