Christian Sainty is currently exhibiting several shots in the Les P’tites Weaknesses tea room which represent portraits taken in India. The author of the photo narrates: “In 2013, I went to India with 2 friends. During this trip, we traveled in the province of Himachal Pradesh which is in the north of the country, towards Nepal. Then we went to Rajasthan in the northwest, the land of kings and forts, I have chosen, for this exhibition, to present you mostly portraits of men with long beards, turbans which can be up to 7 meters long and sometimes laughing, sometimes sharp, sometimes mischievous looks. Rajasthan, the land of color for women and men. Portraits these are taken from life, but with a certain engagement with the subject, which is generally easy to photograph. When traveling, I really like taking street scenes, with local characters in the composition drawn from life.My journey to India via Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh was a wonderful experience unforgettable, both culturally and humanly.”

The exhibition lasts until October.
