Asian Para Games 2022: Indonesia adds 2 more gold medals, from Saptoyogo and Kacung Setiawan

Bola.com, Hangzhou – Indonesia again won two gold medals in this event Asian Para Games 2022. Today, Indonesia collected a total of six gold medals at the 2022 Asian Paralympics.

Para-athlete Saptoyogo Purnomo handed Indonesia the second gold medal in Asian Para Games 2022. This time, sprinter Saptoyogo Purnomo won gold in the men’s 200m T37.

Another gold medal for Indonesia came from Kacung Setiawan who competed in the men’s singles B2 lawn bowls.

In the race held at the Huanglong Sports Center Stadium on Wednesday (10/25/2020), Saptoyogo delivered an extraordinary performance to finish first. Yogo crossed the finish line the fastest with a time of 23.34 seconds. Ali Yousef Alnakhli of Saudi Arabia won the silver medal with a time of 24.75 seconds and the bronze went to Shreyansh Trivedi (India) with a time of 25.26 seconds.

Yogo showed impressive performances in the competition acts he participated in. He was proven capable of winning two gold medals for Indonesia after facing tough opponents.

“Especially in the 200 meters, the toughest opponents came from India and Saudi Arabia. The opponents I faced were very tough,” Yogo said, through a statement from NPC Indonesia.
