Has anything changed since he landed a historic contract with the UFC? “There is nothing. My president, Wahi Jubilee Ancol, is (I am the same Anshul mountain). “I don’t know who I will fight or where it will take place. For the moment I am out of the camp. This is where you train rather than prepare against a specific opponent.
Even out of camp, Anshul kept his form and was fully prepared for the fight that was about to happen. “Until today I had a training day and I did five sessions. I am in a ready state to fight. In terms of strength, cardio and endurance, I am literally ready to fight anytime because the UFC can tell us to do it, and then we have no other choice,” he said.

Continuing the legacy of the ‘Road to the UFC’
Anshul’s success not only helped him on the world stage but also paved the way for other Indians to enter the sport.
After the resounding success of the first season, the Dana White-led UFC has announced the second edition of Road to the UFC, which features two young Indian faces – Sumit Kumar and Rana Rudra Pratap Singh – in the octagon.
Rudra Pratap and Anshul have trained together in the past, with the latter praising the former. “I’ve trained with Rana before, and he’s a fighter to watch. He has a good attitude and also has the skills to excel in the sport,” Anshul said.
I think Sumit trains in Thailand. I have not been in contact with him. However, as Rana is currently training in India and I know him personally, I got in touch with him and tried to share all my knowledge and experience.
“While fighting for the UFC, I received expectations from all over India. I want all of you to support them too because they are the ones who are working hard to make our country proud. I hope both of you fighters will win both fights, and if there aren’t two, we will have at least one more Indian fighter to win.
