Air Canada and flydubai unveil partnership that will strengthen ties between Canada and the Middle East, East Africa, the Indian subcontinent and South Asia Français

  • The airline will operate codeshare flights in 9 markets and interline flights in more than 60 other markets besides Dubai

MONTREAL, May 17, 2023 /CNW/ – Air Canada and flydubai today announced a new partnership that will provide more convenient options for traveling customers Canada and the Middle East, East Africa, the Indian subcontinent or South Asia.

Once final regulatory approval is granted, Air Canada will add its marketing codes on nine routes operated by flydubai from Dubai, so customers can travel in these markets with the issuance of a single ticket. This connection will primarily serve the cities of Medina, UnluckyBahrain, Jeddah and Muscat in the Middle East, as well as cities Colombo And Karachi on the Indian subcontinent.

Additionally, through the interline agreement, customers will be able to enjoy hassle-free connections in Dubai to more than 60 destinations served by flydubai in the Middle East, East Africa and South Asia, including Kathmandu, Djibouti and it Maldives. Of these destinations, thirty are unique to flydubai and are not served by other Air Canada partners.
