A computer engineer, he opened an Indian restaurant in Lannion

Saveurs d’Inde is the name of a new restaurant that brings Asian flavors at rue Cie-Roger-Barbé number 12, in Lannion (Côtes-d’Armor).

Samuel Gunapandian, the new owner, is from southern India and married to a Trégorroise, bringing additional offerings to the city center and offering Asian-infused take-home formulas. “Just two or three tables will allow you to taste the dishes on the spot,” describes a former Alcatel computer engineer who recently radically changed his professional path.

“I have a passion for food and especially Indian food, where I come from. I also completed training at Greta and worked in various restaurants. »

Here, priced at €13.50, it offers three specialties per week, including dishes dedicated to vegetarians. “And I make my own spices”, added the man who only works with fresh produce on his stove.

Just typical dishes from different regions of India: marinated butter chicken that melts in the mouth like butter baked in the sun, marinated prawns and cauliflower, or even malai kofta and hot sauce…

The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday, 12.00 to 14.00 and 19.00 to 21.00. Taken by phone. 07 80 38 11 79.
