CRITICS

Everyone knows superheroes, especially those from the DC universe. Therefore it is a very good idea to focus on their pets, which provide this Crypto and Super Animals very friendly.

The screenplay by Jared Stern and John Whittington focuses on Krypto, Superman’s dog. After the disappearance of his master, he will team up with a group of strange animals who inherit superpowers. They must then struggle against unlikely events and discover that friendship can move mountains.

Jared Stern and Sam Levine’s film is very colorful and a lot of fun. It presents an entire gallery of four-legged characters who don’t have their tongues in their pockets. We had fun discovering the strengths of the various protagonists. And look at their similarities to the Justice League.

The French dubbing is well done and we really appreciate the voice of Muriel Robin who embodies a guinea pig with very special abilities.

The adventure takes place mainly in Metropolis. The set is great and the animation is very fluid. The action scenes are very well controlled. This made it possible to witness terrifying clashes and spectacular building demolitions.

If work is devoted to animals, we find with delight seven members of the Justice League who find themselves in a very bad situation. Superman is highly highlighted, being the owner of the main character. However, Aquaman allows you to have a good moment of humor. And Batman is still a great character. The other protagonists are a little further back, but make up a good bunch of superheroes.

When it comes to animals, there is something for everyone. Thus we find two dogs who don’t have their tongues in their pockets, a fan of the superhero world pig, the scary squirrel, the turtle, the brilliant guinea pig, and the cat that offers a very interesting, amazing and exhilarating sequence.

And most importantly, don’t leave the room before the credits end to find a companion to a new character that will soon be found in a Warner film.

Steve Jablonsky’s music is also fun to listen to and fits in with the hilarious woes of this wacky band trying to find a new family, but also tame some incredible superpowers.

Crypto and Super Animals is a very good cartoon that is a fun pastime and often makes you laugh. Fans of the DC universe should not miss works that have a certain complexity and feature a lot of characters.

With a sympathetic story that is perfectly adapted by very elaborate realizations and delivered by charming characters, the story goes at full speed and makes you really want to have a four-legged friend with you.

Fun and enjoyable.
