New Delhi, May 16: BGauss, the RR Global brand, on Monday unveiled its third electric scooter – the D15. The D15 follows the B8 and A2 electric scooters, which have been well received by consumers nationwide. Locally made, the D15 comes with smart features, a sleek design and a strong and rugged body, the Mumbai-based company said in a statement. “The D15 aims to meet the growing demand from electric vehicle enthusiasts in the country by offering a sleek, smart and reliable product that combines technology with a superior driving experience,” said Hemant Kabra, Founder and Managing Director of BGauss Auto.
The electric scooter is powered by a 3.2 kWh Li-ion battery and can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 7 seconds in sport mode. It has two driving modes – Eco and Sport –, can be fully charged in 5.5 hours and has an ARAI certified range of 115 km.
This model comes with various features such as removable battery, built-in navigation system, digital speedometer, Bluetooth connectivity, keyless start, USB port for cell phone charging, call alerts and notifications. BGauss currently has 100 showrooms nationwide and is poised to establish a stronger foothold across India by the end of 2022.
