In a series of tweets on Saturday, the company acknowledged the incident but blamed it on a “regrettable” action by an employee. The “measure” was “fixed immediately within minutes” and the person concerned admitted their “mistake” and apologized for it.
Coding Ninjas went on to say that the founders had expressed “regrets” and apologized to employees, describing it as a “single” incident. “…we are taking proactive measures to ensure this does not happen again. Disciplinary measures will be taken against the employee concerned.

It continued, “This was an anomaly at Coding Ninjas and went against the core values that we stand for as an organization.” We want to assure everyone that this action was not intentional. Over the last seven years we have built this company with a lot of love and great passion to fill India’s talent shortage and it is unfortunate that this incident is happening. We regret the inconvenience caused to everyone involved.”

The incident reportedly happened two weeks ago money controlciting coding ninjas. A guard can be seen locking doors from the outside in a video that has gone viral on social media. When questioned by the person who took the video, the guard posing as Vijay Kumar said “Anurag sir” and instructed him (Vijay Kumar) to do this to ensure that no one left without his (Anurag’s) permission can go.
On Twitter, several users criticized the company for its “insensitivity”.
