DEHRADUN: According to reports, a 24-year-old woman who worked in the cleaning department of a 5-star hotel in Dehradun was raped by a 15-year-old boy who was staying there with his family Kalyan Das.

Speaking to TOI, the survivor said: “When I told the family what the boy had done, instead of comforting me, they offered me money and treatment in a major hospital to cover up the matter. I told them I’d rather go to the police and I didn’t need their money.
Meanwhile, one of the officers involved in the investigation said the boy had confessed to the crime. “The boy cried continuously during questioning and said he made a mistake that he now regrets,” the officer said.
